henry is tall and muscled. he has dark hair that reaches just past his ears in the front and is a little longer in the back. his eyes are very dark, basically black although they appear a little lighter in the sunlight. he wears plain, usually darkly colored shirts and pants. things that fit well and he can move quietly in so as not to scare animals away. with the amount of time he spends in the woods, henry always makes sure he has a pair of good shoes to protect his feet and keep them warm. if it's cold he also makes sure to bring a warm fur coat.

as a whole, henry is basically a jerk. he doesn’t admit he’s wrong and almost never apologizes, and treats most people like they’re beneath him. particularly the women. his main focus is himself and he isn’t ashamed of that, whether or not it gets in his way a lot. but he doesn’t care, because henry doesn’t admit he’s wrong.

henry hasn’t been as close with his family as he could. his father, who he is named after, is an expert on weapons and his mother, ilene, died when he was seven. he has two younger siblings; alexander and rose. he spends the most time with alexander, who shares his love of hunting and will occasionally visit rose if she asks nicely. however, she tends to be fairly busy with her own family. his father he sees often, being the one who gives him knives and swords and such.

he was born in a small house, built by his father. when he was two years old, the family was joined by his sister rose and another three years later his mother gave birth to a boy: alexander. but when he was seven, henry’s mother died in childbirth and the baby didn’t make it either. the rest of his childhood was uneventful; hunting trips with his father and brother, going to live on his own in his late teens. a few years later, his sister doing the same when she got married.
