Court of the Fae & the Queen's Train

Like most royals titles, the title of Faerie queen is much longer when in formal situations. Nerida's full title, since she reigns over all faeries and their subspecies, is actually Her Majesty Queen Nerida of the Faeries, Empress of Nymphs and Pixies, Defender of the Glen.

As a queen, Nerida needs a court -- otherwise, she's less a queen than a dictator. The court should be representative of all the peoples under Nerida's rule; there should be some pixies, some nymphs, and some other forms of faeries as well. Ranks are up to the player on who's who in court, and the titles may be unique to each subspecies, so be sure to specify.

Almost as much, Nerida requires a train for when she goes on diplomatic missions to the human capital. This train would be composed of key members of court (probably made of top representatives from each subspecies), and several servants and ladies-in-waiting. Ladies-in-waiting (and male servants as well!) often play important roles in the lives of the aristocrats they serve, sometimes becoming good friends and confidants.

I'm looking for both a court and a train for Nerida; sometimes they will overlap, being that key members of court will appear on the queen's train.

I was thinking of making some sort of male servant anyway, and was wondering if maybe you liked my idea for it. If not, I can definitely tweak it, because it sounds like a fun idea!

I either wanted to make this servant:

- some sort of human male who just got sick of human life and decided to join the fairies. (It goes without saying said male would be a bit of a moron.)

- a human male who got captured and sold into/given for servitude to Neridia.

But if you have any set ideas for someone like this, please let me know!

I really like the second idea. Specifically, what if this young man was given as a cruel gift to Nerida by Queen Helena, to gauge her strength of character, get a rise out of her or perhaps even for the evulz? Because of the rules of propriety, Nerida was forced to accept him.

Either way, I'd be glad to have Gabriel in Nerida's service!

i think of course that her little sister would be a part of her court haha. rhoslyn would most likely tag along whether she liked it or not.

Naturally that would be the case, since Rhoslyn has both a rank and a title. As a member of the Royal Family and a very popular princess among the people, she'd have considerable influence over public opinion -- whether or not she is old or wise enough to take such natural power seriously is up to you, although I imagine that it would get on Nerida's nerves if her little sister preferred pretty clothes and frolicking in the forest to diplomatic talks and court gossip. Might create a nice bit of tension between the two, especially if Rhoslyn perhaps grows up a little and wants to be taken seriously, only to be dismissed by Nerida even if she's right (...especially if she's right).
