personality wise some would call thorin a real bastard. he is sarcastic, narcissistic, and selfish to an extreme degree. he is also maliciously uncaring of everyone outside of his clan, to the point that he would amusedly watch a child being ripped to shreds if he can see no personal benefit in rescuing said child. thorin is also a master of the hunt, and there is nothing he enjoys so much in the world as chasing down prey and killing it. he also takes great pleasure in his skills in arms, and is without a doubt one of the best swordsman in the land. like most full blooded sidhe, thorin has been mentally conditioned against lying to the point where telling a lie literally causes him physical pain and discomfort lasting for months on end. so with that, thorin never ever lies. ever. he has instead become a master of words, able to say one thing while meaning the complete opposite. ironically though he does not lie he also seldom tells the truth, and any information garnered from him should be examined and then examined again. he is a master of intrigue and simply adores making things much harder for people than it has to be for no other reasons than his macabre sense of humor.
Also like most full blooded sidhe thorin can’t go back on a promise much for the same reason why he can’t lie. cnce his word is given it is set in stone.

thorin was raised in a family of four which also consisted of his mother, father, and younger brother. jubilee, morgan, and lrespectively. though the wildfae court claimed that all within were equal the starseer family was without a doubt of the upper aristocracy. leonard starseer being the court’s greatest hunter with the pelts of a thousand of the world’s rarest beings to prove it and jubilee being the Court’s greatest battle mage. jubilee lost all interest in her son upon discovering that he didn’t possess the aptitude and interest necessary for magical practice. In eight-seven years of life thorin remembers seeing his mother only a handful of times and speaking to her even less, he neither likes nor dislikes her. he gets along with his father well, indeed his father is the one person that thorin actually trusts as much as there can be trust in the wildfae court, which basically means that he won’t actively seek his father’s destruction in some way or form. as for his little brother leonard, the two of them gets along as well as brothers could be expected to.

thorin was born in the heart of the black forest in sunny brightglade. His people were a band of nomadic sidhe and their associates who dubbed themselves the wildfae court to emphasize their independence from queen nerida who they saw as weak and unworthy of lording over them. the wildfae is composed of the most brutal and bloodthirsty of all fae and naturally among such a wild bunch things such as mercy and kindness and gentleness was unheard of. from early childhood thorin learned to be tough and ruthless, to revel in spilling the blood of his enemies. he also learned to be smart, to win not only with his sword but with his brains. he learned all his lessons well, and by the time he set out into the world seeking adventure he was definitely a force to be reckoned with. now he travels among the different lands creating as much havoc as he can.
