More commonly known as Lord Commander Armand Tarish Zantorian, this twenty-eight-year-old is the youngest man to ever have command over the Knights of Alytheon. With a keen sense of honor and duty, Armand is often put at odds with his own actions. After all, he holds no delusions about just what kind of people the Queen and her son, Prince Emmerich, are; but how can he follow the orders of the crown without violating his strong ethical code? He may have to face the question quite soon.

Armand is amiable enough, but known as rather boring and tedious because of his work ethic; after all, he didn't climb the ranks of knighthood by slacking off in the pub with his fellow soldiers (although he has been known to appear there once in a blue moon or so). I plan on giving him one special bestie who would be his second-in-command, but other than that, he's quite open and friendly in his ways, stressing chivalry and politeness in his behavior.

As far as he is concerned, the wicked at heart don't have any place around Armand. As someone who is as pure-of-heart as a soldier can be, he cannot abide rudeness, disloyalty, or dishonorable behavior. With reasonable exceptions for certain circumstances, those who lie and live dishonorably don't deserve Armand's attention.

Despite being the very picture of chivalry, Armand becomes extremely awkward around ladies, espeically those he finds beautiful or attractive, and it takes him an awfully long time to shake off that strangeness. To him, conversation is a better order of the day than open flirtation, and seeing a young lady's smile caused by his actions sends his heart in a tizzy. As a result, however brave and daring on the battlefield he may be, Armand may certainly be undone by a beautiful woman.

JULIETTE AND ARMAND: OMG! I totally had this random thought of doing a play on Lancelot/Guinevere/Arthur! Basically Juliette is getting into a forced, arranged marriage with Prince Emmerich. Jules is a really sweet girl, but headstrong, certainly not someone who deserves to be married to a tyrannical ruler. They are obviously going to meet considering he's the Lord Commander. Juliette will probably fall in love with him because he's so polite, chivalrous, and gentlemanly...completely opposed of her betrothed. Armand can fall in love with her, but not say anything considering that would be REALLY bad. Eventually Juliette won't be able to keep herself from telling him. Feel free to add/delete/ignore any of that.

Armand &Emmerich:
I feel like these two could have a really tense relationship. Armand leads the knights, and Emmerich is a very hands-on type prince so he would probably fraternize with Armand at some point. The prince probably like him because he's the type of guy he'd keep company with. But obviously Armand doesn't exactly approve of Emmerich or his mother, so that creates some nice conflict of if he should stand by his moral code or get chummy with the prince in order to have a bit more influence of Alytheon.

And I'm loving the Lancelot/Guinevere/Arthur idea.

For shizzle! ^-^ I really can't wait to see where this goes, especially if/when Emmerich finds out about it. He can't afford to lose such a competent commander, but it's not like he could pull a Henry VIII on Juliette, since it would kill his alliance with her home country. INTRIGUE! DRAMA!
