Of The Month Awards
This is how it’s going to work. From the 1st of the month to the 15th, you can pm me a nomination you have for each category. Then from the 16th till the end of the month, there’ll be polls with all the nominees. Obviously, the one most people vote for “wins”.
Some sort-of-rules;
- Thread Of The Month must have either been started or finished that month. (The exception is this first month, since we only just opened in August.)
- Don’t just nominate your friends. These awards are about giving recognition to the people who’ve worked hard on their characters/relationships/threads and are deserving of praise. Doing a “I’ll scratch your back if you scratch mine” thing defeats the purpose, and I’m gonna be cross if I found out someone’s been doing it.
- I don’t want to hear any bitching about the winners. Be it at other members or staff. If you’re sick of seeing someone constantly win all the time, then nominate someone else for that category. If you feel like someone didn’t deserve to win, just remember it was members who nominated and voted for them.
And that’s it! Nominations for August/September begin September 1st.
